Online Hotel Reservations!

The lovely people at Loews have set things up so y'all can make hotel reservations for Ascendio via the website! (Note: It may not work on all mobile devices, but you can always enter the GQC7A1 code to get the rate via the mobile site, fwiw.)

The hotel rooms are $210+tax per night for quad occupancy in standard rooms, and $265+tax per night for quad occupancy in deluxe rooms, which are a little larger and may have better views - also, the rates are available from the night of July 9 to the night of July 17, so you can come early, or stay late.

If you want a suite, though, you still need to call the hotel - they can't automate those reservations so they work online, because they're 30% off but the prices change in some complex mathematical fashion. To get info about suites, or make a regular reservation by phone, call the hotel at 866-360-7395, or you can fax 407-503-9258. You must provide them with our code – HPEF-ASCENDIO.

Also, don't forget that registration for Ascendio is now open at our website - we're coming close on 200 standard registrations so if you want the early bird rate, don't wait!

See you next July!

Night of a Thousand Wizards - can attendees buy second tickets for guests?

[personal profile] sinick 2011-08-31 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
I will be attending for the whole conference, however my husband isn't so much of a fan as a fan-in-law. He wasn't intending to attend the conference per se, so I was just going to buy him tickets to the Welcome Breakfast and Leaving Brunch.

I wanted to also get him a ticket to the Night of a Thousand Wizards, so he could attend with me.

Can I get him a ticket to the Night of a Thousand Wizards, in the same way as I can get him the tickets to the Welcome Breakfast and Leaving Brunch (without his having a registration of his own)? Or will he have to get a day registration before he can get a ticket for Night of a Thousand Wizards?
